Bear Hunting Manitoba

If you enjoy the thrill and excitement of hunting, Hunt Riverside's bear hunting is one of the best adventure sports in Canada and since the Riverside Lodge is located in Manitoba, which is known for the best in bear hunting in Canada, the Riverside Lodge, Manitoba is highly recommended. Bear hunting in Manitoba, Canada is completely different from all other bear hunting regions in Canada, as the areas is secluded and unspoiled and our acres of property have no roads through the property and hunters will at no time, see any evidence of human establishments while enjoying a bear hunting expedition in one of Canada's most remote areas. Our lodge was established more than forty years ago and our plentiful game and gorgeous surroundings is as a result of careful management and passion. However, in addition to just being one of the most secluded hunting regions, Manitoba is known to have the highest population of black bears and because our lodge has successfully managed their black bear population, and cared for the surrounding habitat, our black bears have thrived. Since there is virtually no human contact, and the vast open areas of our lodge, bear hunting in Canada at Manitoba is a must for all avid bear hunters who are keen to just get out into the great outdoors and enjoy the rush of bear hunting.

In 2009, our lodge introduced outcamps that are based in the northern region of Manitoba and these outcamps are basically canvas tents that are equipped with showers, kitchens and bathrooms. The outcamps have only enhanced the thrill of bear hunting in Canada, and the adventure factor has certainly been increased, as hunters can live among the bears. A 6 hour trip from outcamps, hunters will find themselves in the middle of a huge forest, where the overhanging vegetation has been able to create a optimal hunting ground for black bears. Manitoba is one of the few bear hunting regions in Canada that has kept accurate records and collected samples of the bears which have been hunted over the years, and these samples include teeth and reproductive tracts which have been used to conduct research and accurately determine the sex, age and health of the bear. The data that has been collected has helped us to increase the bear population and we now have healthy and thriving bears. In addition, this information has been used to stop the accidental hunting of sows with cubs. Bear hunting in Manitoba, Canada may be done with rifles, shotguns and muzzle loaders and should you be keen to enjoy an adventure of a lifetime, bear hunting in the Manitoba region of Canada is strongly suggested.

Our lodge has exclusive bear hunting rights in the Manitoba region in Canada, and this means that the only bear hunters are the hunters from our lodge and over and above the outcamps, we also have lodge accommodation, and we offer three daily home-cooked meals. To find out more about our hunting programs, which also include a youth hunting program and to find out more about the facilities of the Riverside Lodge, be sure to browse the website, www.huntriverside.com.
