Waterfowl hunting 2009

September 03, 2009 by

Duck hunting weather is now here and we are seeing many birds show up on the start of their fall migration. Lots of geese and the snows first showed last thursday. The weather is all messed up again for the entire year right from spring, but the show must go on, nature will continue regardless of the weather. I have always tried to predict migration patterns with little success. Hind sight though being 20/20 we have kept records from past years, and i seems the migration is shorter due mostly to the weather. It is nice to see some cool temps and i hope the northern part of the province cools of too, that will push the birds down.

Looking forward to another great year, with some new equipment and startegies it is always fun pursuing the game.
Stay tuned here or on our web site where we will post pictures and stories of some hunts.
